Women’s Day: Astrology for Self-Worth, Boundaries & Inner Strength

If you’re a woman, chances are you’ve heard this line at least once:

“Adjust.”

Adjust in your relationship.

Adjust at work.

Adjust at home.

Adjust your tone so you don’t sound “too much.”

And slowly, without realising it, many women end up doing a strange trade:

They exchange self-worth for peace.

On Women’s Day, I don’t want to write a motivational quote.

I want to give you something more useful:

A clarity-first way to understand why you may struggle with boundaries, why you over-give, and how to rebuild inner strength — using astrology as a lens.

Because the point isn’t to “win” against the world.

The point is to stop abandoning yourself.

The real problem: You can be capable and still feel small

Some women are high-achievers — but still doubt themselves.

Some women are emotionally intelligent — but still tolerate disrespect.

Some women look confident — but still fear being disliked.

This isn’t because women are weak.

It’s because women are trained (socially and emotionally) to become agreeable.

Astrology simply helps us see where this pattern comes from in your inner wiring.

Self-worth in astrology: Sun + Venus

In Vedic astrology, two planets often show up strongly when we talk about self-worth:

1) Sun = inner authority

Sun is not ego in the bad sense.

It’s your internal “spine.”

A healthy Sun looks like:

  • “This is what I want.”
  • “This is what I won’t tolerate.”
  • “I can handle discomfort without losing myself.”

A shaky Sun looks like:

  • Constant need for validation
  • Feeling guilty for choosing yourself
  • Changing yourself to be accepted

2) Venus = self-value and relational standards

Venus is not just romance.

It’s what you believe you deserve.

A healthy Venus looks like:

  • You enjoy love, beauty, softness — without losing your standards.
  • You can receive.
  • You don’t confuse attention for affection.

A stressed Venus looks like:

  • Staying for “potential”
  • Over-compromising
  • Saying yes while resenting it later

Boundaries in astrology: Mars + courage

Boundaries require force.

Not violence — force.

Mars represents:

  • courage
  • the ability to say no
  • the ability to face conflict

If Mars-energy is low in your life, boundaries feel like danger.

You may avoid saying no because you subconsciously fear:

  • losing love
  • creating drama
  • being seen as rude

In practical life, it shows up as:

  • “I’ll just do it myself.”
  • “It’s okay, I don’t mind.” (when you do mind)
  • “I’ll speak up later.” (and later never comes)

The hidden trap: people pleasing is not kindness

People pleasing is not being kind.

It’s being afraid.

You don’t say yes because you love helping.

You say yes because you fear what happens if you don’t.

And the cost is always the same:

  • anxiety
  • resentment
  • exhaustion
  • loss of self

A simple Women’s Day self-check (5 questions)

Answer honestly:

1) Do you feel anxious when someone is upset with you?

2) Do you over-explain your decisions to avoid judgment?

3) Do you give more than you receive?

4) Do you delay difficult conversations until it’s too late?

5) Do you feel guilty for resting?

If you said yes to 3 or more, your work this year is simple:

Rebuild self-worth and boundaries.

The “Inner Strength” practice (Effort × Fate)

At Turia, we believe in: Success = Effort × Fate.

Self-worth works similarly.

There’s the part you can control (effort) and the part that needs timing/healing (fate).

Effort (what you can do)

Start with these 3:

1) One clean “No” per day

Say no once a day — to anything small.

Build the muscle.

2) Stop negotiating your boundaries

A boundary is not a debate.

Instead of: “Is it okay if…”

Try: “I’m not available for this.”

3) Replace guilt with data

When guilt comes up, ask:

  • “What is the evidence that I’m wrong?”
  • “Or am I just uncomfortable because I’m changing?”

Fate (what needs patience)

Some patterns are deep.

If you’ve been conditioned for years to be agreeable, your nervous system will panic when you set boundaries.

That doesn’t mean your boundary is wrong.

It means your system is learning a new normal.
