Welcome to turia ("turia," "we," "us," or "our"). turia is a web-based wellness platform that blends Vedic-astrology insights with modern self-development tools — daily tasks, micro-lessons, Vedic rituals, affirmations, and guided reflections — to help you understand emotional archetypes and grow through self-awareness.

By accessing or using our website, platform, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and our Privacy Policy together form a binding agreement between you and turia ("Agreement"). By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use paid features or consultation services.
• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.

3. Nature of the Service

turia provides astrology-based self-reflection, wellness, and personal growth content for informational and educational purposes only.

The Service does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your circumstances.

4. Consultation Services

turia operates as a technology platform that enables users to access consultation services from independent astrologers and AI-assisted virtual systems ("Consultation Services"). turia does not provide astrology consultations directly.

All astrologers are independent contractors and are not employees, partners, or representatives of turia. turia does not control, supervise, or endorse the specific interpretations, guidance, or opinions provided during consultations.

Consultations may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content is based on algorithmic patterns and may be generalized, incomplete, or inaccurate. It should not be considered personalized, definitive, or guaranteed.

All consultations are provided solely for self-reflection and educational purposes. turia makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, usefulness, or outcomes of any consultation.

You acknowledge that any decisions or actions you take based on consultations are solely your responsibility.

turia is not liable for any direct or indirect consequences resulting from consultations, including emotional, relational, financial, or personal outcomes.

turia does not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are experiencing mental distress or require urgent support, please contact qualified healthcare providers or emergency services immediately.

5. Payments, Billing & Refund Policy

Certain features of the Service may require payment. All prices are listed in INR unless otherwise stated.

All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

We may consider refunds only in the following limited situations:

• Duplicate payment made due to technical error
• Payment processed but service not delivered due to a confirmed system failure
• Unauthorized transaction reported and verified

In such cases, you must contact us within 24 hours of the transaction with proof of payment.

turia reserves the right to investigate and determine eligibility for any refund request at its sole discretion.

We may change pricing at any time. Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

6. User Content & Privacy

You may submit journal entries, reflections, or other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your content.

You grant turia a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the features you use.

turia will not:

• use private reflections to train machine-learning models,
• sell or commercially exploit your User Content, or
• use your content for advertising without your explicit written consent.

You agree not to submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing content. turia may remove such content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service — including content, design, text, graphics, logos, and proprietary systems — are owned by turia or its licensors.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, turia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of INR 5,000 or the amount you paid to turia in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold turia harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for misuse, violations, or risk to the platform.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Force Majeure

turia shall not be liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, network outages, or government actions.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, it shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in New Delhi and conducted in English.

Courts in New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction for interim relief.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting an updated version. Changes become effective upon posting.
